This store was good for what it was in small town New Market in 1999. However, with the population growing, the store exterior and parking lot needs a face lift. Also the store needs to “grow up” a little. Add a small cafe and/or Starbucks. More seasonal items as well. Could it be a place to get a healthy lunch? There is currently no healthy option in New Market.
Excellent service. They do not have a good variety but you can find groceries and cleaning supplies

I guess I didn't realize just how basicFood Lion is. Went in Hopi g for some kind of salad bar or pre made sandwich or really anything. Was a waste of my time really. On the upside, it appeared clean, organized and pretty well staffed for a grocery store.
Clean store, friendly staff, good selection of produce. Small deli but fully stocked. Lots of parking and clean bathrooms. Handicap accessible.
