It is clear why this was a nationally recognized "Blue Ribbon" school in 2010- all the staff are great! They do a lot to help ensure the students succeed. This is an awesome school-it's like a private school it is so great, but the plus is the fact that is free! Overall, an A++!
Out of respect, I will not name this teacher. But her initials are LF and all I can say is, good riddance.
Years later, I still get incredibly upset when I think of what I went through at this school. I have worked as both a teacher and an administrator in school settings for years, and never came across a teacher who was as rigid or non-empathetic as this one. The administrators "automatically" backed her without attempting to work with me as a parent.

I enrolled my daughter as a first grader at this school and after a few frustrating months with a teacher who was not good at understanding my daughter, and came across as very self-defensive in the conference that I finally requested...I immediately withdrew my daughter from this school and transferred her to a private school. Since then, she has had over a dozen different teachers (due to our moves and her now being in middle school) and has absolutely THRIVED in all of these classes under all of these different teachers (and administrators). Every one of them are different but all have showed traits that are universally expected for teachers: willingness to hear out the parents, proactivity in trying new approaches, self-reflective and so on.
This is the best school you will ever find!
